the sun will rise like any other day
the almost limitless drapery of clouds
creeping shadows obscure luminescence
...only for a moment
I can still feel the breeze
yet it stands motionless in my memories
when did it become this way?

a viscous cycle
of denial and vengeance
brews like a storm
on the horizon

coldly gazing from lifeless eyes
a twisted fate is riddled to me
a sweeping horror engulfs my soul
...a landscape of death and decay

the lines have been drawn in the sand
to be washed away with
the purest intentions
blurring the secrets between lies
manipulating logic to form
vindicated reasoning
forever burdened by paradise denied

the greater evil presented
a hideous figure so vile
is merely the sacrificial facade
the mirage that dances with silhouettes
pulls the strings invisible to human eyes

shifting paradigms of power overwhelming
paint the world in fear and hate
obscurity claims the causation
how many more cycles must we complete?

the horizon is blinded by a tear in matter
the sky ripples unnaturally
a new age has dawned
in spectrum of
infinite contradicting realities

in silence the schism
rips through flesh and bone
disintegrated blood cells
and nerve endings vanish to dust

and in the wake of the Earth
salted beyond salvation
a new scourge unseen
taints the living far beyond death

desolation suffocates the land, sea, and air
the spherical remnants of a broken species
floating through the void
relentless permutations are revealed
sleepwalking evolution accelerates
harmonious to our demise
the culmination of rebirth

defiantly roots begin to take hold
feeding from the essence of this new
transfigured atmospheric elemental

deviations from our natural order
profoundly impact the balance
of variables to consistence

born from this congruity
a spectacle of power and abhorrence

love and empathy,
are shrouded in the absurd and obscene
desiring consecrated divinity
we reach into the unknown
wondering if something will reach back
